I have been a therapist for fourteen years. I have extensive training in couple, family, and child therapy. While I see couples, families, and individuals, my primary focus is on relationships: past, present, and future. I believe it is through our relationships with other people that we find the most joy, and in many cases, the most pain. I see my role as a therapist as someone who helps people maximize their joy and learn how to heal and integrate their pain. I believe that people are strong and resilient, and that therapy can help them unlock that capacity.
I work with many adult issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and strengthening relationships. I also have extensive training working with children, particularly around ADHD, defiance, divorce, autism, separation anxiety, trauma, and other attachment issues. I recognize in families that adult issues and child issues often go together, and I work with all members to create a stronger family.
