I truly enjoy working with people of all ages and seeing how they grow and change. We all run into times of crisis or struggle and whether it is something that requires intensive work or maybe seems quite small, there is hope for the future. I have experience working with children in play therapy, and teens and adults using an eclectic and person centered approach including CBT, ACT, psychoanalysis, DBT, as well as other modalities. I am one of three therapists in the area that have been trained in Trauma Conversion Therapy which is amazing for trauma, anxiety, depression, and OCD.
I have experience working with common concerns such as anxiety and depression as well as post-partum, infertility, adoption, loss, grief, early return missionaries, rape, etc. If desired, I can and enjoy bringing in a Christian approach and am able to bill and work with ecclesiastical leaders.
I like working with individuals, families, and couples. I have extensive training and experience in the adoption field and can provide home-studies, post placement visits, and therapy for couples and birth parents.
