I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who partners with children, adolescents and adults to find and reclaim their inner and outer resources for the change they seek. Over 30 years as a therapist at all levels of care has given me the gift of experience with a diverse range of challenges. I continue to be moved, honored and inspired by my clients of all ages. I believe they would tell you they can feel that.
Years of additional training in cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, trauma work and attachment issues have given me more specific tools to share with foster and adoptive families.
My greatest and most humbling teachers, though, have been my own kids, adopted from foster care 22 years ago.
